Seton Montessori Institute & Schools is seeking applicants to fill a part-time Registrar role for our Institute programming for adults which is expected to require 20 hours per week. This role will support the Institute's work of educating and credentialing adult students who will go on to serve the world through the Montessori method of education. The ideal candidate will possess superior organizational and communication skills, hold previous experience in database and Learning Management System (LMS) management, and be self-directed. This person will be and become passionate about supporting the needs of today's adult student as they navigate the process of becoming a Montessori educator and leader.


Responsibilities:

  • Intake and orientation of new students
  • Facilitate the documentation of financial obligations and prompt the billing process
  • Manage student files - both physical and digital
  • Serve as the LMS Administrator, creating classes and setting up students within that system, then tracking attendance and the completion of requirements towards certification
  • Faculty relationship management, from creating and executing agreements to supporting faculty with accessing and using the LMS system
  • Accreditation process management
  • Event support for public events and programs
  • Coordination of marketing initiatives, both in print and digital media
  • Serve as the communication hub for students, faculty and Seton staff


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and relevant previous experience required
  • Previous experience in records management required
  • Experience in an educational non-profit setting preferred
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgment
  • Must possess service mindset and ability to work independently
  • Open to different cultures and perspectives - speaking additional languages is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office, database management, Learning Management System administration
  • Project management experience
  • Must demonstrate trustworthiness, confidentiality, initiative and flexibility


Other information:

  • Compensation range is $20-25 per hour
  • Benefits include tuition remission at our Lab School for eligible children and paid time off
  • The position is located in Clarendon Hills, IL, and can include some remote work
