Assistant Teaching Position
Rose Hall Montessori School is looking for an Assistant Teacher to join its Primary (3–6-year-old) teaching team. Rose Hall is a small, nurturing, community school with great parents, flexible and collaborative teachers, and a supportive Administration. Rose Hall is a member of the American Montessori Society and has been serving children and families on the North Shore for almost 40 years.
The Position:
The Assistants role is to support the Lead Teacher as they prepare the classroom each day, work as part of a team to support the children in the classroom and collaborate on curriculum changes. It is crucial that the individual has strong communication skills, be organized, creative, responsible, and collegial. The ideal candidate would have prior Montessori experience, or experience in an educational setting, a commitment to the Montessori philosophy, and 6 credentialed hours of early childhood education.
The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, beginning August 2022, with a one week on-boarding summer commitment in June.
