Job description

We are looking for an individual to coordinate and provide care for children ages 3-6 in our afternoon and afterschool program. Hours are from 3:00 -6:00 PM.(15) hours per week.

Responsibilities would include

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
• Interacting positively in a caring, calm, and nurturing manner.
• Classroom management and supervision.
• Encouraging and modeling appropriate social behavior and expectations.
• Planning and implementing art projects,games,and trips to the park.
• Maintaining respectful and courteous relationships with parents.
• Working respectfully as a team with other staff members.
• Maintaining complete and accurate attendance records.
• Daily responsibilities include washing dishes, sanitizing materials and restocking supplies.
• Ensuring classroom is clean and orderly so that it is a prepared environment for the following school day.

Montessori/Early Childhood experience preferred. Must have a High School diploma.

• $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
