Highly motivated individuals are needed for the Hadi School of Excellence, a growing Islamic private school located in Schaumburg, IL.   We are looking for a full-time primary (3-6) teacher for the 2023-2024 academic year starting mid-August to mid-June. The position is for 5 days a week.

Education and Training:

• AMS/AMI teaching credential at the 3-6 level

• College Degree preferred.

• Experienced in curriculum development

• Willingness to be trained in Positive Discipline or Love and Logic

Prior Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of classroom experience preferred.

• Mentoring or co-teaching experience a plus

• Kindergarten enrichment experience is a plus.

Role Expectations

• Create a system for daily observations and record keeping.

• Ensure curriculum goals are met regarding Montessori and cultural enrichment studies.

• Create monthly newsletters with curriculum highlights and classroom news.

• Communicate with parents and staff, concerns or observations regarding child development in areas of social emotional, academic, and motor skills.

• Work collaboratively with the co-teacher to prepare and maintain the Montessori-prepared environment and share responsibilities to write conference reports.

• Develop a reflective teaching practice.
