Brickton Montessori School, an accredited, private, elementary school, is currently interviewing for a part-time Middle School (7th and 8th grade) teaching assistant for the 2023-2024 school year. The candidate will assist and support a Montessori-trained, secondary lead teacher in lesson planning, classroom management, and other instructional duties in a self-contained, two-year holistic adolescent program. A full-time position is available if the candidate is also qualified to teach K-8 physical education, art, or drama classes additionally. We are looking for an energetic, organized, and patient adult who is willing to meet the changing needs of students as they go through their various planes of childhood development, especially those of 12-15 year old adolescents.
