We seek a collaborative individual to join our community and assist in our Montessori

Toddler Class.

• Hours: 8:00 am to 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday
• Academic year: August 12, 2024 to May 30, 2025
• Summer employment is contracted separately

A successful assistant will:

• Understand the needs of the children through observation and discussion with the Guide
• Imitate the Guide's approach to the child
• Respect the child’s innate desire to learn
• Support the Guide through observation and dialogue

Job Duties:

• Oversee the safety and physical well-being of the children at all times
• Assist children in the development of language, social and self-help skills
• Assist the children with toilet choosing when necessary
• Assist in maintaining an orderly environment, keeping it clean and sanitary
• Assist in the care and maintenance of classroom materials
• Attend staff meetings and parent meetings as directed by the Head of School

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $13,600.00 to $16,800.00
