Benefits of Membership

AIMS is an exciting way for your Montessori school to network with other schools.  Benefits of membership include:

  • A school listing in our school membership directory which is available to the public, other schools and teachers.
  • Opportunities to liaison with other professional groups.
  • Participation in AIMS display ads.
  • Establishing a network with other heads of schools to call on for support and advice.
  • Opportunities to visit area Montessori Schools.
  • Linking your school's website to the AIMS website.
  • Workshops/Discussions of issues relevant to your school-personnel, benefits, enrollment, board, legal, administration and legislation.
  • A school AIMS Membership Certificate to display.
  • Access to the AIMS video collection.
  • Access to AIMS members listserv.

Types of Membership

  • Associate membership - Any Montessori school who subscribes to Montessori teaching methods with multi-age classrooms, Montessori materials, and trained Montessori teachers.
  • Full membership - Any Montessori school who is verified by AMS; accredited by AMS, IMC or MEPI; or recognized by AMI. This confirms that all teachers are Montessori trained at the level in which they teach and authentic Montessori is practiced at all levels.
  • Individual membership - Any Montessori-trained individual not affiliated with a member school who is desiring to become a part of the AIMS organization.

Renew Your Membership (Current Members)

LATE FEE APPLIES TO SCHOOLS RENEWING AFTER OCTOBER 15.

1) Login to https://ilmontessori.org/Sys/Profile using the email address associated with your school's membership.  It was included in the membership renewal email you received on August 1.  Don't remember your password?  Use the Forgot Password link.

2) Click on the red button  to renew the membership and follow the instructions.
