Primary Director - Country Meadows Montessori School

Our Primary community is entering a joyful new chapter. Our current Primary Guide — a dynamic, deeply passionate Montessori educator — is transitioning to Lower Elementary next year to continue guiding the same cohort of children she has nurtured since early childhood. As she moves forward with them, we are seeking a Primary Director who will bring their own warmth, steadiness, and vision to the heart of our early childhood program.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a well‑established, beautifully prepared environment with a strong culture of independence, kindness, and curiosity.

We Are Hoping to Welcome

We’re looking for someone who is not only Montessori‑credentialed, but who brings a grounded, human presence to the classroom — someone who communicates with clarity and warmth, collaborates with ease, and sees the beauty in the everyday work of the child.

You might be the right fit if you:

  • Hold a Montessori Primary credential (AMS/AMI/MACTE)
  • Have experience guiding young children (Primary or early childhood experience both welcome)
  • Communicate with honesty, empathy, and professionalism
  • Observe deeply and respond thoughtfully
  • Value partnership with families and colleagues
  • Bring steadiness, joy, and curiosity to your work

As Primary Director, you will:
  • Lead a Primary classroom with intention, consistency, and respect
  • Maintain a warm, orderly, developmentally aligned environment
  • Support children as they build independence, concentration, and confidence
  • Partner with families through clear, compassionate communication
  • Collaborate with assistants and school leadership to support a thriving community
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth of a program with deep roots and a strong identity
