Position: Full-Time Montessori Middle School Guide
Location: River Forest, Illinois | Start Date: 2026–2027 School Year

Keystone Montessori School is seeking a passionate, collaborative, and mission-driven Montessori Middle School Guide to lead our adolescent program.

Our ideal candidate:

• Holds AMI or AMS accredited Montessori Middle School credentials (or is in training) (case-by-case basis considered for candidates without Montessori training but experienced in Middle/High school teaching)

• Understands adolescent development and Montessori’s Erdkinder philosophy

• Designs interdisciplinary, project-based learning experiences

• Balances academic rigor with independence and real-world application

• Values community-building, student agency, and meaningful work

Responsibilities include:

• Curriculum planning across humanities and/or STEM (depending on strengths)

• Advising and mentoring adolescents

• Facilitating community meetings and student-led initiatives

• Partnering with families through conferences and communication

• Collaborating with administration and faculty

We are a small, mission-centered school community seeking a guide who believes Montessori education is preparation for life — not just academics.
