  • Encourage and promote standards of excellence and ethical business practices.
  • Monitor and disseminate pertinent educational legislation information.
  • Conduct a consolidated public relations program.
  • Act as a catalyst for harmonious interaction between members and other educational organizations.
  • Support best practices in Montessori education.

The AIMS Regional Annual Conference

The AIMS annual conference is one of the largest gatherings of Montessorians in the country, drawing teachers and administrators from Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan. For 2021, the event will be held virtually.

Attendance at these conferences has topped 500 for a number of years.

The conference is held over two days. Day one (Friday, February 19) is for school administrators. Vendors interested in supporting this day can become sponsors, as explained below.

Day two (Saturday, February 20) is intended for all Montessorians, and contains sessions of interest for virtually every individual working in a Montessori school.

Sponsorship Opportunities

You are invited to participate in the 2021 AIMS Conference by sponsoring this exceptional gathering of Montessori professionals.

The Association’s primary goal is to provide a network of support for Illinois Montessori Schools. As the face of American education continues to evolve, Maria Montessori’s theories become more relevant than ever. Last year’s conference attracted over 500 teachers and administrators who enjoyed presentations and panel discussions on diverse topics relevant to their unique roles in the educational community.

On Friday, February 19, administrators representing public and private schools will participate in an “Admin Day,” with speakers talking about leadership in Montessori schools.  The virtual conference continues on Saturday with break-out sessions on best practices for teachers and administrators of Montessori schools and is expected to draw well over 500 attendees.

The AIMS Conference offers an opportunity for your business or organization to increase exposure to this regional network of Montessori schools.
